Windows computer runs slower

My Computer Is Slow On Startup

Have you ever wondered why that brand new computer you just bought is extremely slow? Or even why the computer that you have had for years and it worked fine all of the sudden does not work as fast as it used to. Today I am going to share some tips that will help you get your computer to work the way it did when you bought it.

1. Uninstall any software that you do not need

if you just bought a brand new computer and it is running slow you have to realize that the computer probably came loaded with a bunch of software that is not even needed, manufactures do this because they want to profit from the sale of the computer and they make money by adding software that you do not need, the first thing that you are going to do is go to your Control Panel and click on Add Remove software and remove any software that you do not need, this will speed up your computer for sure since there will not be any more software fighting for resources.

2. Install a better antivirus application

The second thing that we are going to figure out is what Antivirus software is running on your computer and how many resources it is using, I have noticed through out my years of experience that most antivirus software use a ton of your system resources and this can really slow down your computer, I highly recommend that you get rid of the Anvirus software that you have installed and get a copy of Malwarebytes, this is the best software out there and it will keep your system protected, you can start with a free copy but I recommend that you get the paid copy, you will get more features and it is very affordable, plus your computer will be protected against Spyware and Malware as well.

3. Upgrade your hard drive to an SSD hard drive

Adding more RAM used to be one of the best things that you could do to improve your system performance however now a days I have been recommending that people upgrade to an SSD hard drive, the reason for this is because they are FAST, really fast! Going from an old spinning hard drive to an SSD is like night and day, the speeds do not come even close and they do not even compare, if you are experiencing slowness on your computer I highly recommend that you do this, now a days you can get a good solid state hard drive for under a hundred dollars and you are going to be really happy with the results, the best thing about this is that most of them come with software that allows you to clone your hard drive and transfer all of your data which makes it very easy and affordable, you can find a good SSD below.

Above is a Samsung 860 EVO 500 Gigabyte two and a half inch SAA III Internal Solid State Hard drive. Need to speed up your slow computer? Solution is up here, this SSD is very, very fast and it will cost you around $70 dollars. You will be happy with the results!
