I recently replaced my wi-fi network adapter on my desktop with an Edimax AC1200 adapter. Since then, I have not been able to download any files from the internet. As soon as I click on a file to download I get a “Failed – Download Error” message. I don’t know if the new adapter is causing the problem but it is the only thing that has changed since the download errors started.
Unfortunately, I don’t have the old adapter to test whether a different adapter would fix the issue.
