I currently have the GTX 1060 in my system (AMD Ryzen 7-3800x, 32 gb DDR4). It is the weakest part of my built but it gets by for video editing (Premiere Pro CC). I am trying to get into MS Flight Simultor 2020. The general consensus is that the 1060 can marginally pass the requirement. But some of the gamers commented that I will not be able to see high resolution detail of some of more densely populated landscape (flying thru some cities) and be losing the immersion feel.
I am looking to upgrade my GPU. I have found that the RTX 3060 ti with 8GB vRam has a performance of approx 4-5x benchmark than the GTX 1060.
I am looking for advice on this subject:
- I have a 600W PSU and it seems to be able to handle the upgrade. The RTX seems not needing a power plugged from the PSU, right?
- There seems to be a wide variation of CTX 3060 ti out there ranging from $400…
